Exact Narration by Suvendu Roy of Titan Industries, who shares his inspirational encounter with a rickshaw driver in Mumbai:
Last Sunday, my wife, kid, and I had to travel to Andheri from Bandra.
When I waved at a passing auto rickshaw, little did I expect that this ride would be any different....
As we set off, my eyes fell on a few magazines (kept in an aircraft style pouch) behind the driver's back rest.
I looked in front and there was a small TV. The driver had put on the Doordarshan channel.
My wife and I looked at each other with disbelief and amusement.
In front of me was a small first-aid box with cotton, dettol and some medicines.
This was enough for me to realise that I was in a special vehicle.
Then I looked round again, and discovered more -
there was a radio, fire extinguisher, wall clock, calendar
and pictures and symbols of all faiths - from Islam and Christianity to Buddhism, Hinduism and Sikhism.
There were also pictures of the heroes of 26/11- Kamte, Salaskar, Karkare and Unnikrishnan.
I realised that not only my vehicle, but also my driver was special.
I started chatting with him and the initial sense of ridicule and disbelief gradually diminished.
I gathered that he had been driving an auto rickshaw for the past 8-9 years; he had lost his job when his employer's plastic company was shut down.
He had two school-going children, and he drove from 8 in the morning till 10 at night.
No break unless he was unwell. "Sahab, ghar mein baith ke T.V dekh kar kya faida? Do paisa income karega toh future mein kaam aayega."
We realised that we had come across a man who represents Mumbai – the spirit of work, the spirit of travel and the spirit of excelling in life.
I asked him whether he does anything else as I figured that he did not have too much spare time.
He said that he goes to an old age home for women in Andheri once a week or whenever he has some extra income, where he donates tooth brushes, toothpastes, soap, hair oil, and other items of daily use.
He pointed out to a painted message below the meter that read: "25 per cent discount on metered fare for the handicapped. Free rides for blind passengers up to Rs. 50.
My wife and I were struck with awe. The man was a HERO!
A hero who deserves all our respect!!!
Our journey came to an end;
45 minutes of a lesson in humility, selflessness, and of a hero-worshipping Mumbai, my temporary home.
We disembarked, and all I could do was to pay him a tip that would hardly cover a free ride for a blind man.

SMS & REAL LIFE

Recently I got a sms - There were one couple who went to commit suicide .When boy jumped from the top of the hill girl turn backward & said -LOVE IS BLIND .Boys then opened the parachute and says - LOVE NEVER DIES.
This is a very simple sms I just forwarded it to one of my police friend,after a while I got a reply from him that - this actually happened in his cadre when he just begun his career in police but the premi had jumped in the godavari river!
His sms made me curious to know more about what was the fate of the man & women who jumped.I asked him his reply came as- only d premi jumped , premika come back and reported the matter in police station.She was charged with abetment to suicide.
My next question was -what happned to the girl & why she did this?
reply came as - the premika developed cold feet and they decided to jump together. While the premi jumped, she could not.She was unmarried but the premi was married and father of 3 small kids .aren't women smarter:-)
I could not understand how come this reflect that women are smarter , this married man was also smart to rope a unmarried girl to have fun in life....& if for any reason premika was smarter then why she had gone to police station , she could had gone to hide or for a run...

It is a very relavent question to the media industry. First: The foot soldiers of media i.e. stringers are important part of the industries and they are rendering services to their respective houses but almost for free or you can say that in an hope to yeild in near future but that future never come. If they are not utility oriented to the organisation then why they make them work. If they were working not over here they would have been working at some other place or could be fetching something.
On social ground if government is making the losses good made by the corporate houses then why they are keeping an close eyes on the exploitation of these younger lot.
These younger lot work as a negotiating agents for these political parties. SO they want to keep them as this only- helpless , ready to work for small money.

I feel that these individual stringers are the foot soldiers of the industry but are not given the due recognition or the success of the industry , you can say this is the example of concentration of wealth in few hands . Editors farm houses also I consider the extension of this arguments.
If we will not talk about the living condition of these stringers then why we talk about the CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITIES. The sole purpose of any business house is make profit not the social welfare of their worker, suppliers, customers , investors & those who are associated with them.If political parties - journalists are keeping an check on them then why not to keep an check on media house or rather you can say MEDIA SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITIES. Then we must not also make a hue & cry on the salary of CEO of any MNC and huge gap between the pay scale of any CEO & an ordinary employee of that company.

PAID NEWS - POLTICIAN FELT CHEATED FIRST TIME BY MEDIA

There was a seminar today on MALPRACTICE OF ADVERTISMENTS BEING PURVYED AS NEWS in Speaker’s Hall, of Constitution Club, Panel were Election Commissioner Mr. S.Y. Qureshi,Leader of the Opposition: Ms. Sushma Swaraj ,CPI (M) General Secretary: Mr. Prakash Karat ,Congress spokesman: Mr. Manish Tewari ,Prasar Bharati Chairperson: Ms. Mrinal Pande ,Editorial Director: Mr. T.N. Ninan ,& politician Mr.Ansari were there.
The whole debate was that this is the first time the corruption of media has pinched the political parties interests otherwise corruption was there also but at that time it was managed by political parties in their interest . But now political parties are paying money but the media houses are taking money from both the parties and praising & accusing both- opposition & ruling party . So it is hurting political parties interests . What I feel that

political parties are demanding principle in dishonesty.

This is not that political parties are not aware of dishonesty of media houses, they are very much aware of the media houses malpractices toward their employees either in terms of paying them less, making them working late, throwging their story in dustbin if it is harming the interest of owners. But non of the political parties are interested in raising this issues.
This time they are raising the issues because media’s marketing managers are making fool out of them by taking money from all the parties so they are feeling victimized. Look at

the mind track of media baron they feel that till now politician has used the country to make money and served their own purpose but now this marketing managers of media houses & media owners are becoming more smart than politician so thay are fooling them and making money out of them

. Might be our political bosses are not liking it so they want to control media so that media can work accourding to their wishes.
In democracy opinion force the people to take a decision - “which party to vote or not” so the role of media is very important over here .Now media houses are able to realize its power and (mis)using it.Now their powers heat is hurting the political bosses’s interest so they are worried.
When I asked Sushma Swaraj that in our country a media student who is coming out of media education institution after paying 1lacs fees and after working for six month- one year are not able to fetch a job , how he/ she afford to be honest for how long.How long his/her family is going to make them support. She said – is this a place for the empowerment of stringers? and Manish Tiwari of Congress also replied in the same tone. It shows that political parties are not interested in the exploitation of the small journalists or younger lot they are more interested in controlling media for their own interest.& bother with the biger lot of media.
Ms Swaraj has complain that media call politician corrupt , now how corrupt media have became themselves?
But who will tell her few smart people in media has learned the corruption from them only .
LAST BUT NOT THE LEAST - NOR MEDIA HOUSE NEITHER POLITICIAN FEEL THAT STRINGERS ARE HUMAN BEING AND THEY SHOULD BE PAID DECENT SALARIES SO THAT THEY CAN LIVE A HUMAN LIKE LIFE.THIS IS WHEN STRINGERS ARE CONTRIBUTING TO THE 60% OF THE TOTAL NEWS.
Has anyone asked these rich editors- how many farm houses they are owning?
The big question is who is going to put a bell in the neck of a cat!!!!!!!!
One good point raised by my fellow journalist friend that when in the era of everyone from sports person , film stars to businessmen paying the media houses to get their published why bashing politician alone…..!!!!!!!!!!!!

A BRIEF ENCOUNTER WITH P CHIDAMBARAM

In a recent interaction with our union home minister Mr P Chidambaram at our INDIA WOMEN'S PRESS CORPS. Chidambaram made it very clear that police & law -order is a state subject, central government can only help them to sort out the matter.He was pretty annoyed with some journalists because he feel some stories creat confusion & miss lead people.He further made his annoyance crytal clear by saying that few journalists ask question on the basis of some abstract information ,until & unless he has some solid information in his hand he can't say anything.
While encountering the question on keeping CRPF jawans at schools he said state government has provided that place for them so they have to stay there. Chidambaram further questioned that why any journalists have not yet done any story on "why 350 school has been bombbarded by maoists". In response to a querry on the lack of development in maoists affected area he said that the area is not under the control of the state government so no question of development arises. First let us take the control of that place then only state government can start development activities.
On fair representation of women in police he said that we can't apply women quota system in police but yet there are lots of women in police in CRPF,BSF,ITBP& other wings of police. But he also highlighted the point that there are some places like high altitude area where it will be difficult for women to operate.On question of how he keep himself cool , he said that he has no tension with a cheerful smile.
During the whole encounter with women journalists he was very cool,logical & very smartly answering.

CHANGING FACES OF ICAI

ICAI was very conservative institute in 90ies where you will be able to see quite conservative lots of girls & boys willing to join the profession unlike the macho lot in MBA. Boys & girls used to sit in separate seats just watching each other from distance. But now two decade later if anyone go to see ICAI ,the lot has improved a lot & the communication level between girls & boys has improved quite a lot.They seem quite friendly to each other unlike the conservative history of ICAI's students.
So this new generation of second decade of 21st century is going to change the face of ICAI.

President Barack Obama appointed Melanne Verveer as Ambassador-at-large for Global Women's Issues.Ms.Verveer visited IWPC on friday, 6th of nov, 2009 to discuss the agenda of women’s progress and development in all spheres of life. She had a heart to heart with women journalists on a variety of women matters.

Talking candidly with the women journalists at IWPC, Melanne strongly advocated economic independence of the women and recommended strictest punishment for those indulging in various crimes against women.

Ms Verveer also shared her experience of Mumbai with Bollywood actors & actresses on issues of human trafficking, greater awareness for domestic violence etc. In Mumbai, she visited SEVA, a reputed NGO. Besides, she also met Krishna Tirath, Minister for Women & Child Development and bureaucrat Mr. Kumar Shikri on the issues of hundred per cent literacy, education of girl child, special agenda in terms of women empowerment, global health proposal to reduce female
mortality rate, sexual exploitation and forced labour of women among other issues.

During interaction with IWPC members, she also underlined the fact that the government cannot finish this big task alone and it requires the participation of private sector, society, academicians, institutions et al. She spoke on the issues of development, food security, climate change, micro finance for women, small & mid-size women entrepreneurs.

Ms Veveer answered the question raised by one of IWPC member on the issue of rape in Afghanistan by the US Army. To this, she strongly advocated strict punishment for the culprits on being proven guilty. She praised a lot for Indian Women Police force for performing the wonderful task as Peace Keeping Force in Liberia. On the lighter side of conversation on the lifestyle of the First Family of US, she defended the vibrant lifestyle of the Obama family and said that they represent ‘Young Ideal American Society’.

When asked about women empowerment, she candidly replied that her Government just doesn't want to categorise this issue as one among the other ones but wants to deal with it as a separate and important issue focussed for the development of women and society at large.

Few days before at our women's press club Bangladesh High Commissioner to India, H.E Tariq Karim has come for a formal dialogue with female journalists. Mr Tariq is a seasoned diplomat having experience in Iran & other important countries.

His conversation indicate that Bangladesh has became very mature nation within all these years. Now they means business with India and they want to have business relationship with western state of India like Haryana , Punjab ,rajsthan , gujrat etc rather than their traditional partner throughout these years W.Bengal & north –east state like assam.

Mr Karim was very keen on the investment made by BHARATI – MITTAL group in Bangladesh in telecom sector. Now they are looking forward for investment from India on various sectors.

It was a wonderful candid conversation with Mr.Karim.This new government of Sheikh Hasina in Bangladesh has come up with 80% voting in that country.

Vinita Kamte, the wife of late 26/11 mayhem martyr Ashok Kamte has written a book alleging the police force ignored crucial information during the terrorist attacks. She said "My book is based on the facts given by the Mumbai police using the RTI Act,"
Vinita claims to have exposed Maria’s ‘feigned ignorance’ about the events unfolding in the Rang Bhawan lane. Kamte, Anti Terrorism Squad (ATS) Chief Hemant Karkare and Senior Inspector Vijay Salaskar, were killed there.

She alleges commissioner Hasan Gafoor told Kamte to rush to Trident Hotel. Later, the control room directed him to Cama Hospital. Maria’s response to her on this was ‘I don’t know’. Gafoor was unavailable for comments despite several attempts.

Vinita also writes about how Karkare’s repeated pleas for reinforcements to block the passage of the terrorists fleeing Cama Hospital went unheeded for over an hour. This, Vinita says, gave terrorists Ajmal Amir Kasab and Abu Ismail free access to the lane.

The control room also failed to move the bleeding officers to hospital in time despite several calls from local residents to the control room, the book claims.

Vinita said she was initially reluctant about writing the book "but my desire to find out the truth about what happened on the night of November 26 leading to my husband's death ultimately triumphed."

If Vinita has shown the courage to come up with such a bold & well researched work we must support her for such courageous act. As a wife of the deceased police officer & ordinary citizen of India she has the whole right to probe into the details of this matter.We must not leave everything to the will & finding of the government departments. Untill & unless we, the ordinary citizen of India show the courage to stand for the justice "true democracy" will never come to the country.Even in the police department lots of scruplous person are involved.

WILFUL EXIT

The Indian woman’s free will is an elusive entity. The Supreme Court has ruled that a wife who walks out of her matrimonial home “willingly” is not entitled to maintenance. At least, that is what the court has ruled in one specific instance, upholding the ruling of the Punjab and Haryana High Court that denied maintenance to a woman who had left her husband and had filed a complaint against him for demanding dowry. She had moved court asking for divorce on the ground of cruelty, while her husband had filed a petition for the restitution of conjugal rights. This was in 1998. Five years later, the court dismissed her plea for legal separation. No doubt the court in its wisdom had found that her husband was not cruel and that she should have responded to the direction to return to him. She had also left her children behind. It is to be assumed that the husband’s petition for her return and the fact that she had left her children behind had nothing to do with the dismissal of her plea. This is important, because a general application of the principle behind the court’s ruling may pose a grave danger to women forced to leave their husband’s homes without even their children. When this woman applied for divorce and maintenance a year later on the ground that she was living separately, the divorce was granted but not the maintenance.

There are numerous instances in which women fear for their lives in their in-laws’ homes, but have no certainty of food and shelter outside it. In many such cases, the woman leaves home, even if she has to leave her children behind, hoping to somehow bring them out if and when she finds a secure shelter. While the act of walking out is technically “willing”, the result of an independent and possibly secret thought process, can this will be described as “free”? The convolutions of the law, the right of the husband to demand the restitution of conjugal rights — given the dangerous psychology of violent men who desire the presence of their most favourite victims — and the cultural baggage a mother trails, incarcerate women within numberless invisible walls. Of course, all this does not mean that women do not try to manipulate the law or exploit their husbands. Such realities merely indicate the care with which the law must step when a woman petitions for maintenance after “walking out” of her marital home.

RIFT BETWEEN ANIL-MUKESH MAY COST UPA GOVT.

The rift between Anil -Mukesh on businees front is taking the shape of ad-campaign in all the national newspapers 's front page advertisements by the Anil Ambani. The add is accusing the governments /ministers that they have favoured the Mukesh group at the cost of the NTPC, a govt organisation. The govt. is now shoeing its displasure and advicing Anil not to do that. The whole episode is indirectly helping Mukesh as anil has directly taken panga with the govt which in the long run may harm its business interest. Mukesh Ambani seems quite intelligent sometime as he don't go public easily but love to do his work behind the scene . Both the brothers have their different work style and have admirers.

The main thing will be after this : what will be the out come for the Anil after such excersice. But in the meanwhile media is being gaining in terms of advertisement revenue.

JASWANT SINGH'S EPULSION FROM BJP

Expulsion of Jaswant Singh from BJP shows that how much we have became intolerable toward different and difficult views.A society progress with debate ,conflict ,different views not with just uniformity of opinions .Jaswant Singh has the whole right to express his opinion ,he never says that this is his party's views .So BJP must not take the decision to expel him.This is like that no one can criticise no one -the true autocratic situation. In congress you can't criticise Nehru- Gandhi family, in BJP you can't praise Jinnah,or senior leadership.Just accept everything as it is.If this is the situation then where is democracy.J L Nehru himself said that in democracy one must have the ability to tolerate opponent's view, which we are loosing very fastly and in its place CHAMCHAGIRI is becoming very popular.
Media should also not blow this out of propotion.Different views of a person is very important for the development of mind ,one must try to think at a subject from different angles.Anybody in politics is for power purpose not for charity purpose either it be Jinnah or J L Nehru. No one is holy cow but we must try to look at them from different angles not in a black-white manner.Jinnah may be the symbol of Hindu-Muslim unity but he was also the person who demanded for Pakistan- a separate nation for muslims. What might be the reasons for which Nehru agreed to have partition and at the same time promised that muslims in India will remain safe.This shows the complexity of human beings's complex decision making nature and admiration for power.This must be look in a different manner. And I think Jaswant Singh only tried to do that.He should not be expelled at least for expressing his views.You may agree with him or you may not.About his view on Patel many people may not vouch for his idea but at least can hear it for sake of hearing.

Recently I was on a visit to my birth place “Dear KOLKATA”. There I met after a gap of a decade to my favourite , intelligent and dynamic teacher who use to teach us maths & stats in CA.- Anil Shah Sir। He is so wonderful person , he got magic to make the tough and complicated study fun.He was darling among the girls and envy for the boys.I know sir will laugh after reading this . But this was the reality. I myself used to see the popularity of Sir among the girl students. Now- a-days Sir is teaching Cost to CA final students. Although very few people know that Sir is a qualified engineer ,he bought the books of cost in order to prepare himself to teach cost to the students.This is Anil Shah , who says where is a will , there is a way. In other word he still teaches us – “never say no to the change, change yourself according to the time and be a winner.No wonder ,I was also a die-hard fan of sir and install his technique of teaching – make study fun
fun, whenever I am teaching to my students of media. Although I don’t teach maths nor CA’s any subjects.

But the funda is the same , make the class enjoyable.This post is a salute to my dear & darling Teacher- ANIL SHAH Sir.

The financial fraud at Satyam cases is the result of lack of awareness among the general masses about their rights as shareholders. Companies Act,1956 provides lots of rights & power to shareholders to look into the day to day business of a company.

Companies Act empower an ordinary shareholder to check the Books of accounts of a company at its registered office by paying a nominal fee। Again If minority of shareholders feel that majorities of shareholders’activities are causing opression and mismanagement in the conduct of business activities. Minority shareholders i.e. one ten in total number or one ten holding of share in terms of volume can write to Company Law Board (CLB). CLB after receiving the complain can take a necessary step to bring the justice .

Again the format of a company is more like a democratic structure ,where ordinary shareholders choose the statutory auditor of the company ।Statutory auditor is the external auditor unlike internal auditor .Internal auditors are the employee of the company and are on the payroll of the company.The statutory auditor are the group of the independent professional firm to whom fees are paid for rendering services. The duty of statutory auditor is to see that all the accounting and auditing principles are followed by the company or not. Whether the company has applied the raised public fund in those area for which it has taken .If auditor find any discrepancies in all these things ,he should “Qualify “ his report by pin pointing those errors. But he has to give an opportunity to the management under natural justice to defend himself .Here come the real problem ,no management would like that their mistake surface before the market ,government & shareholders.So they try to please the audit firms & auditors.

Apart from this there is another instrument by which management want to keep check on the auditor is that they can appoint another auditor in the next AGM. But here there is some defence available to outgoing auditors as incoming auditor has to seek the “no objection” certificate for outgoing auditor. During this time outgoing auditor can inform incoming auditor about the discrepancies existing in the books of accounts of the company. If the outgoing auditor is not satisfied with the behavior of incoming auditor ,he can launch a complain against his fellow member in ICAI .Proven guilty of professional misconduct ,action can be taken against incoming auditor & his firm.

There are lots of points in which if ordinary investor become interested they can put a check on these sort of financial fraud in the very begaining।All this can be done only if investor are made awared by the media & themselves. At the sametime investors have to curb their extra greed to become rich out of inflated price of shares. Very few investors are interested in the day to day fuctioning of management & company rather their sole object is to watch the rise in the price of stock & divided declared by the company and corner a huge profit out of selling their stocks. According to the newly elected President of ICAI Mr. Uttam Prakash Agarwal that an ordinary person can write to ICAI about the Balance Sheet and his signing auditor if he find any doubtful things into that.On receiving the complain ICAI’ s disciplinary committee will take necessary action.

Untill & unless investors rise from the their mental framework there is no point in blaming only the government & management because only the awareness of investor

Can put a check on these sorts of fraud.

This story says that why not only loan waiver scheme has failed to work for the poor farmers but also it is working against them .Although they fall in the bracet of loan -waiving scheme but manager is not giving them any benifit. Why nation is paying tribute to Police & Army including NSG (extended breed of forces) because they haven't sited pretty when the call of duty required them ,they just rushed to the point of attack without bothering that they don't have enough& modern equipment to fight an unequal fight with the terrorists. They just remembered their duty and call of the nation .Thats why millions of Indian people who were not personally known to these great martyrs are crying deeply from their hearts for them.
But politicians like Vilash Rao Deshmukh,R.R Patil & other like Thackeray & Company and any representative of any party you name them ,they were sitting pretty in their home and just expected that let the police & soldiers clean the dust then they will arrive at the scene to act. R.R.Patil don't have the decency to visit the place of action when their men where fighting for the nation ,from commanman to force in their own respective way, to boost the moral of the people that he is also there for the nation when it is required.
The colour of the faces of RR patil, Shivraj ,Vilashrao Deshmukh faded away when their post was either gone for a toss or in danger.Before that they were emerging as a heroes of the war.
I am sure politician at the back must be accusing media for being critical of the visit of R.G.Verma & Ritesh Deshmukh at the destroyed Taj Hotel along with CM Team of Maha Govt.
Actually these people lost the feeling for the nation when they got the chair of power.
Now we don't have a singel politician rather leader who could have the courage to come openly to meet the people when they required .
Even Mr.Ratan Tata was first to visit the Taj Hotel than the CM of Maharastra.Its shows attachment of Mr. Tata to its hotel.

Is women and children are never treated badly and been not killed over there? Does the case of rape of women never registered in their country?
What is the status of muslims in Pak occupied Kashmir?

What is the situation of muslims moved from India to Pakistan during 1947 & little later in Pakistan now? As far as I know they are still treated like outsider in their own Pakistan and are called Muhajir means refuge. (if you have any other information please let me know)

Does any muslim in middle east countries can challenge the rulling authorities over there for slightest critism & forming there own party or govt. is the remotest possibiliteies?

If putting muslims in key post is the criterial of being secular then ask Congrees President to put any muslim in her place? Try to learn respect quality over showoff and symbolic gesture. We lost our brave hero like Mr HEMANT KARKARE, MR ASHOK KAMTE,MR. SALASKAR in this badly planned attack.But at this time also we have great politician who are saying this atack is "choti ghatna can happen in big city like this"(Mr R.R.Patil-Home Minister Maharastra).If we have this type of political will power then India can understand what we are going do in near future.Perhapes Mr.Patil has seen the movie "Dilwale Dullhaniya Lejayege" but he forgotted the context in which it has been said.It was love but this time the context is vertual war on mumbai- meri jaan.
There are few great politician who are saying mumbai is safe because of the sacrifices made by marati like Karkare,Kamte,Salaskar,Shinde. But what they will say about the sacrifices Major Unnikrishnan,commando Gajendra & others.These politician & their chamchas should be treated more worsely than the terrorist because terrorist atack at the nation but they attack within the nation and at its spirit. Keeping brave soldiers like KAMTE, KARKARE,UNNIKRISHNAN,GAJENDRA & endless martyre in the bracate of caste, community and gender is crime and insult against them.They belong to generation after generation and inspiration to whole humanity.

Mr.Ashok Kamte as IPS also got the training at Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel National Police Academy at Hydrabad.During their training period they go for all India Tour for better understanding of their country.As Mr Vineet Agarwal.SP, CBI describe him in one of his article at a newspaper recently remembering that during the communal riots in Karad,Mr.Kamte himself led the laathicharge.The final tally-zero casualty,112 fractures and no complains.The people of Karad simply love him thereafter.After the public meeting of a home minister ,the crowd flocked to catch a glimpse of Ashok Kamte,the man who broke a hundred bones -a following that would turn a politician green with envy. Mr. Agarwal was ASP under trainee with Mr.Kamte,SP Karad at that point of time.The way Mr. Vineet Agarwal describe Mr Kamte ,his senior for which one need not to be a marathi or non- marathi.Good people always remain in the mind of masses with their good deed.Further Mr. Kamte is described by his junior that who once told them that -" WE are men of actions,not legal sections"Mr.Kamte had little patience for people shying away from action under cover of legal limitations.
It was Mr. Kamte who personally led the lathi charge on MNS worker recently when Raj Thackeray was suppose to get bail from one of the court in Mumbai.He was a person of action & determination.The irony is that the national media is writting/ telling about him when we lost him.The amount of coverage Raj got for his bad work is much more than the amount of coverage Mr.Kamte got for his good work.
Once every thing fall in their place with the passage of time we media people will forget about the good work of KAKARE,KAMTE,SALASKAR,SHINDE,UNNIKRISHNAN,GAJENDRA SINGH & list is endless.Againg we will run after petty politician for their nonsense byte,their favour.
Even media houses are now a days directly and indirectly affiliated to some political party.So they also try to defend or give coverage to their political bosses.

The recent attack on Mumbai by terrorist shows that they are implementing their agenda very smoothly and in a timely manner when they have no official trainning school and research wing. Our govt. who are spending so much on security but are unable to deliver the result.
The real problem lies with their "political will power" which is effecting the force.The sad death of senior police officer Heman Karkare,Amte& others is so suuden along with other police force that it is tough to believe.His rash decision to deliver early I don't want to question because under pressure and out of sheer motivation people tend to behave sometime like this.My request to our media personnel please don't create unnessary analysis on the the force , we need collective effort to fight back terrorism in systematic manner. Too much intellectualism won't help to solve the problem.I do agree that police do unjustice in implementing law & odrer ,but that should be counter with the strengthing the other institution of the democracy like Human Right Activist and by awareing the masses.While repoting and writing we also commit mistakes.Although I am not supporting police attrocities but this is also true that we people in the society try to use police to get our wrong work done through them.
This time hopefully all politicial party will look at the terrorism problem in an objective manner and will try to work toward to remove it from India. The Statesman House every year on 16 september give award to journalist for its rural reporting.This year this prestigious award is being given to Sri Shyamlal Yadav of India Today Group.Although Mr. Yadav has done a great work on RTI.His numerous repotings on foreign tour of ministers and IAS officers in central ministry has created a strom in corridore of power and among general masses.But he has received the award for his reporting on comman men from Hariyana and Uttar Pradesh.
On receiving award Mr. Yadav said that awards are being given for the reason of encouragement but now I don't bother for all these things.O.K. It's nice to receive the award but I will keep on doing my work as usual.Mr. Yadav further said that till now he has filed 1,500 RTI (Right To Information) applications to get informations on various matter.He further says that if journalist starts using RTI then they need not to run after PRO to get the informations.In his opinion after independence in India this is the biggest weapon in the hand of general masses apart from article 19(1)(a) which give the right of freedom of expression to comman masses.

The success of any act depend upon the implementing agengy of law enforcer.The same is the case in domestic violence act.Who is there to look into the matter of protection officer who are suppose to represent the victim before the megistrate.In many cases these protection officer don't file the case before magistrate within due period and case remain pending at initial stage.The law says that once a DIR(Domestic Incidence Report) is filed the case should be presented before magistrate within two days.The victim will get the justice within 60 days after filling of the case.
In many cases protection officer's mind set is itself very conservative,they themself will say that raising hands of the parents,husband is quite jutified on the victim.If this is the case you can understand how you will get the justice?

These are the two incidences which I am sharing with all of you, after reading this you will also feel the same way as I felt at that point of timee communals.
Incedence -1 : I was coming from Jaipur to Delhi by bus in 2004,august. Since the weather was bad and wind was blowing at speed so I wraped my chunni around my face & head. A muslim family was sitting at the back of my seat, by seeing my dressing sense they thought that I am a muslim.But as the bus enter the delhi border the weather changed and I uncovered my face from duptta. At that time I was wearing a locket on which "OM" word was engraved.By seeing that "OM" the muslim family gave me a look as they were cheated by me & their face was giving an impression that they thought of some friend and someone came out as unpleasent one.

Incedence -2 : This time i was going to Katu Shyam ji's mandir from Jaipur to Khattu in march,2008 . This time also I wrapped the duptta around my face to save it from wind.I came from temple after "darshana" and while I was taking my seat in bus I over heared that a lady seating in front of me was telling to her fellow lady that see I thought that she is a musalmani but when I saw her in temple then it was clear that she is a hindu.
Conclusion: I felt very bad , come to the concluion that we all are communal.

When I asked Mr. Mani Shanker Iyer who happen to be one of the speaker in IWPC 's seminar in delhi that why there are so many front page reportings on NUKE-DEAL, then he replied to me that the media is obssed with the point of disorder not with the point of oder,we have 13 more issues more important than the nuke-deal is thereto be discussed but no one love to write on it.

IMC recently organised a seminar on INFLATION in delhi.Mr.Badrinath,senior journalist from one of the prestigious business daily presented his views over the subject .Mr. Badri highlighed the issue of inflation & causes of it -metal,currency,energy specially petrol,foodgrains.

He also pointed out that indian newspapers are unnecessarily worring a lot about it,in many countries inflation rates are much higher for e.g 25% in Iran,40% in Burma etc.He further pointed that the effect of inflation come into surface in retail price market after 12 weeks i.e 3 months. Inflation reflect the prices of wholesale market.The irony is that many educated masses does not know these pity things including me. Media is also great, it just know how to keep on shouting without knowing anything in detail & effect of any news.
IMC made an effort to bring these issues in picture , pramote some serious journalism and brushingup the sharp skill of journalists.Shivaji Sarkar,Akshay Kumar,Suresh(GS of IMC),advocate Aruneshwar & other media personalities were present on the occassion.

THE EDUCATED& ELITE FACE OF CRIME

Why this happen that whenever there is a news that some educated & elite class has mudered somebody or committed some crime ,we educated middle class try our best not to believe the story.But as soon as any raw,uneducated person enter the senario we just jump to the conclusion that oh! this guy must have commmited the crime.
Take either the case of noida's Mohinder Singh Pandher CBI has not chargesheeted him till now.But Surender is the accused in the case.Even in AARUSI muder case our biasness is evident that we don't want to believe that doctor parents can be accused.But believe me as soon as the KRISHNA , the home aid come to the picture everybody will now somewhere will be relieved to know that the culprit is a uneducated & low class people. Somewhere our class biasness make us believe that middle class people cann't do such type of crime.Although we forget that crime is something related with human nature .Class only determine the modus operandi.Even higher class educated mass still consider women as a sex objective , but their way of passing the message is quite sophisticated than their raw counter part.

The Tiger Temple or Wat Pha Luang Ta Bua is a Theravada Buddhist temple in Thailand and has been a sanctuary for many endangered animals including several tigers that walk around freely once a day and can be petted by tourists. The temple received several tiger cubs where the mothers had been killed by poachers. As of 2007, over 21 cubs have been born at the temple and the total number of tigers is about 12 adult tigers and 4 cubs.

The way LALIT MEHTA was brutlly mudered in palamu and media coverage being just reduced to shouting on government and govt.official's face saving measure to pass on the bucks to Prof Jean Dreze is quite alarming for the justice seeking people.Lalit Mehta was also like any other indian citizen ordinary and special like any VIPs but his work made him extra ordinary .He was seeking the justice for poor and devoted his life like mahatma gandhi to seek the truth and for the upliftment of poor & villegers.But few handfull people who wanted to control the money and power in the area have killed him.We organised lots of fuction in the name of mahatma every year on his birth and death anniversary & spend lot of money on it.But when a person has choosen to live a life on the philoshopy of mahatma then this was his end.Its shows thatINDIANS WANT GANDHI ONLY ON STATUE AND SEMINARS NOT IN REAL LIFE.One must know that when Metha's dead body was found his both the eyes were dogded out,belt near his neck,many injuries on his body by stone.It shows that how brutally he was mudered.The problem lies with the netas and govt officers are that if NREGA will be criticised it will reflect their failiure and money will stop coming to them .So both neta and sarkari baboo chosen to criticised the Prof J.Dreze and cover up the muder of Lalit Mehta for their own shake not for the shake of justice.

Hey friends,as i promised you that i will be back with that street girl's story when my AATMA will ask me to find out about her.Yesterday my aatma told ,no compelled me to find out about her. So i phoned the foreigner lady to know about her.The lady told me that the girl was fraud ,the police was correct.So the police has released the girl and she has gone back to her family.And for that police has taken the signature of the lady and her husband & ngo has no role to play as the case was fraud.
Next i paid a visit to the police in south-x ,the police told me that they have tooked the girl to new delhi railway station jopadpatty where her grandmother was present and they realesed the girl to her.Doing all these the whole crowd got assembled. Accourding to the police they belong to the bangladesh and in oder to have their livelihood they are doing all these things.One day they go somewhere for begging (chitting, as i consider it) and another day they go somewhere else.
THE QUESTION ARISE HOW SUCH A LITTILE GIRL BE ABLE TO WELL VERSE WITH THE ROAD SENSE OF DELHI THAT SHE KEEPS HOPPING FROM HERE TO THERE EASILY THAT WITHOUT ANY HELP?
NOW after hearing this bangladeshi issue BJP may get into action ,they might say remove this bangladeshis from here.CONGRESS may say no they are not bangladeshis.They can have a great fight togather but in between this girl is loosing her childhood and a decent life.IS THE QUESTION OF A NATIONALITY IS SO IMPORTANT THAT A CHILD CANN'T ASK A DECENT LIFE FROM US? 5th june,2008 .While i was passing by bus from INA MARKET i saw suddenly on footpath a drunken man was lying and a policman(of hawaldar rank) was talking to him.Suddenly i saw this hawaldar raised the faced of the drunked man by putting his foot having shoes on it under his chin. I just got horrified MY GOD AM I WATCHING A HINDI MOVIE or a real life scene in delhi.If this is the situation in delhi than what might be the situation in other part of the India.The more horrified scence was that no one was saying anything to the hawaldar.If this is the situation of the people in democracy then we have to think about the situation of democracy.It raises the question of having institution like HUMAN RIGHT COMMISSION,MINISTRY OF SOCIAL JUSTICE ETC.ETC.I do believe that it is not possible for all the institutions representatives to be every where, but at least their fear should be in the mind of criminals or who are braking the law and general masses should be aware of all these things.I am sure if all the people out there were protested about the incidence the hawaldar must not dare to do that thing.
Now you will ask me why i have not interfared in the whole thing.Then let me tell you before i could realise anything my bus has passed by there and from running bus at around 8.30pm i was not abke to get down .So i request people out there with resources and time please do somthing for it urgently.Becoz in democracy we should work together.

Indian media is totally obssesed with aarusi and hemraj muder case as if this is the only muder case happened in india recently.I am not an insensitive person who can close her eye on the brutal muder of a small girl. But the question arise recently in delhi at ESI HOSPITALA A YOUNG LADY DOCTOR WAS BRUTALLY RAPED AND BEING MUDERED.WHO HAS RAISED SO MUCH VOICES AGAINST THIS HENIOUS CRIME? Actually media is failling now a days in raising the issue in totality of CRIME AGAINST WOMEN OR OTHER ISSUES .Whenever any such incidence is happening media choose one issue in isolation and keep on debating till people get frustrated of it or they themselve.
We fail in doing the followup cases like Khairlangee case etc, numrous muder,molestation,kidnapping,othercrime cases happening in India daily.Where is the case of LADY PARADING IN TWO PIECES OUT OF FRUSTRATION IN RAJSTHAN GET LOST.DOES WE COME WITH ANY NEW CASE WHICH HELP IN GETTING A PERSON JUSTICE.Previously when one house used to come up with a story the another house was working on another story ,the competition was like that. Now it is like all of them are working in the same story togather.Though it help them to deliver and people get obssesed with a single story and TRP get good attention.Every one seems to be happy and media feel that it has done a great job in helping someone to get a justice. But the reality is that does one priyadarsani matoo ,one jasica lal case ,one nitish katara case is very little fraction of the case which are waiting in que to get justice.THE REAL QUESTION IS DOES THESE CASES HELP IN CREATING THE FEAR IN THE MIND OF THE PEOPLE WHO PLAY WITH THE LAW OR DOES IT GIVE THEM THE FEELING THAT YOU BUSY WITH FEW CASES I KEEP ON DOING MY JOB(CRIME).MEDIA HAS TO THINK IN THIS REGARD WHEATER TO BE OBSSESED WITH ONE OR TWO TOPIC OR SERVE THE ISSUE IN TOTALITY.THANKS.

CARBON CREATION AND DELHI GOVENMENTS' ADVERTISEMENT

Dear friend ,our govt. be it delhi or anyother ministries are always concered with the development through advertisements.Had it been be possible for them to change the situation of INDIA through advertisements in newspaper and media they would have done it quite a long before.
The latest example is DELHI GOVERNMENT ADVERTISEMENT ON ENVIRONMENT. The message in the advertisement is quite beautifully written that please put the fallen leaves from the trees into soil, it will create natural resources and by not burning the leaves we will be able to reduce the carbon creation.
But anyone can see around the delhi or central government office compound or along the road side that the falled leaves are collected and made to fire.If government or ministries instead of spending huge money on advertisements spend it on training the people and directly put these people into action to save the carbon creation then two thing will happen 1)many unemployed unskilled people will get a job and 2) carbon cereation will be put under check directly.
BUT WHO LISTEN TO ALL THESE. EASY WAY TO PLEASE MEDIA HOUSES IS TO GIVE THEM GOVERNMENT OR MINISTIRIAL ADVERTISEMENTS. EASY DEMOCRACY.

BJP'S VICTORY CELEBRATION VS INDIAN DEMOCRACY,POLITICS

BJP'S victory in Karnata causes a celebration in Delhi within one or two day the party worker(so called, i love to name them like this) arranged the banner,jhandas etc. at huge amount near Parliament Street in Delhi.The question arises : how does& at what speed these "party workers" are able to arrange these things shows that Indians have lot of energy and money too.But only when the celebration is of political nature.Suppose if any one whould have asked these people that please arrange the money or books,pencils for the poor children's educations,would they have been able to work at such a huge speed?
I am not blaming BJP alone, the same is the case with CONGRESS,BSP & OTHER PARTIES also.When CONGRESS wanted to have TALKATORA STADIUM they got it inspite of it being closed for the restructuring for the COMMONWEALTH GAME 2010 & the amount being spended on the beautification of the stage with flowers was also very huge.Question again arises who funded them? Who work behind them? Does we Indian spend money only for the politician or political parties who can help them to get something or for image boosting purpose in public they are spending money on these issue? Now-a-days we lack people with the political commitment and social commitment which resulted into criminalisation of politics.Then at the end of the day we curse the politicians only.Does we do anything to stop all these?
Both the people and the party is required to work on it and decide what to do about it otherwise a vicious cycle will arise "to please the powerfull and affulents and use the unprivileged one as a prop for social services". The democracy will then get confined to only few people rather than serving the large masses.PLEASE DO SOMETHING BECAUSE WE NEED TO DO SOMETHING.

I was passing by this south ext-1, the poshest area in delhi. I saw a teen age girl lying on the subway her one half-hand is totally burned.First i thought to leave her than I thought that I should not leave her like this.So I approach the police out there to help me out to place this girl with some NGOs . But police asked me -madam how long you have been over here? Later I come to know that the police know that the girl like her spread charcoal on her hand and then spread the mud on it and try to grab the attention of people and money. Irony is that if you will try to ring 1098 it will not work. We have thousands of NGOs running in delhi devoted to the cause of girl children but when you required them you won't find any of them.Sometime I feel advicing organisation like CRY and DELHI GOVT. why they spend so much on advertisement on newspaper and electronic media and hiring of PRO to grab the attention of people and melting so much of the money for what reason? The real victims of the circumstances doesn't receive any benifits. What is the need of grabing so much attention of the public. PLEASE WORK FOR THE GIRL CHILD , public will automatically come to give you attention.BUT WHO CARE??????????????????????. AFTER ALL WE ARE INDIAN WE DON'T MOVE IN STRAIGHT DIRECTION, WE LOVE TO MOVE IN CIRCLE& ZIGZAG.Don't worry even i didn't
